The concept for this portal generated from our sailing days experiences. We are trying to tie up the missing links in the life of seafarer, through collective participation & open discussion. We collected data, Interviewed people & found out few points to ponder upon as the biggest concern. These can be summarized into:
 
F1 – Family The Emotional Connection
The biggest concern of all the issues surrounding a seafarer’s life. They are not considered a family man. But few realizes that they too have a small heart, they also feel pain, they also suffer like a mankind does. They love to be home, they care for their wife’s desire to be with them, the kid’s wishes to be there on their Parents meeting, the relatives wish to be there in functions. But we are tied up! Tied up with sailing, tied up to clear the Home loan, Education loan, car loan, etc. & all these desires take back benches.
It is in our heart that we can feel, but no one knows. We experience the hardships, but the world believes that we are in luxury. With this portal over a period of time, we want to connect the shippy family & kids, so that they understand the pain, share the pain & get to learn beautiful experiences of the world. In addition we are committed to creating a content relevant to family & kids.
 
 
F2 - Friends. – The Intellectual Connection

How he could do it? ( when I was better).. Lucky guy! Or his luck paid off. But forget the toil he has put, the rough weather he has encountered.

F3 – Future The Potential Connection
Hey! This is going to be my last sailing. I have to do something, I have to realize my dream. I need to stay with my family. Obvious questions, when on – board.
But when home, those plan remains a plan, that ideas vanishes. New plan props up or new investments make us to sail again. ( Usual Shippy Story).. Again last sailing story…… (isn’t it?)
Most of the time when venturing out, it’s a common feeling, where to go? What to do? Should I pursue some advanced course? Should I go for MBA? Should I become an entrepreneur or Should I toil hard to clear UPSC.
Keeping these usual confusions in mind, and some from our own experiences. We have devised a forum to speak out your mind, get professional advice, solve your queries from the guys in the field, who have quit sailing & realizing their dreams.
